About Ping​

Ping, Fion Chan is always looking for the next opportunity to merge life experiences into art.

She has shown her passion for art since she was 4 years old.  She would sometimes spend the whole day just drawing objects around her she found fascinating.  Ping has a bachelor degree in applied chemistry,  a diploma in fine arts and a graduate diploma in business management.  She learned the art of drawing & painting from the well-known painter Mr. Wu Yeung , award-winning Hong Kong artist Ms. Ho Sze Pok and the inspirational teacher Ms. Yee Wai Ping.  After graduation, Ping worked as an art teacher in The HK International Academy of Art, Artin Creative Workshop and clubhouses such as Peak One.  Now she works as a graphic desinger in a French multinational corporation.

Ping’s passion keeps herself in demand.  Aside from drawing, she also had a great passion for Bellydance, Flamenco & Argentine Tango.  Her devotion led herself to be a bellydancer in the World Bellydance Day Festivals (Hong Kong), and Hong Kong’s 1st Mediterranean Arts Festival, contributing advanced choreography in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre featuring the art of belly dancing.  In 2019,  Ping was the champion of the oriental fusion group in the Hong Kong 8th (Global Cup) Dance Competition.  During that competition, she danced the Flamenco Arabic fusion choreography.
