About Ping
Ping is a dynamic graphic designer whose vibrant passion for art is deeply rooted in her life experiences. Her artistic journey began at age four, when she spent entire days sketching the enchanting world around her. During her school years, she excelled in drawing competitions, securing championships in “Our Community” and “Protect Your Environment – Green Action.”
Holding a bachelor’s degree in applied chemistry, a diploma in fine arts (awarded with merit), and a graduate diploma in business management (awarded with distinction), Ping combines technical expertise with artistic flair. She honed her drawing and painting skills—encompassing sketching, oil painting, watercolour, and Chinese ink painting—under the renowned painter Mr. Wu Yeung and award-winning artist Ms. Ho Sze Pok. She also studied artistic human anatomy with Hong Kong artist Mr. Eric Luke. Additionally, Ping refined her digital painting skills under the guidance of acclaimed illustrator Mr. Vincent Chu, Art Director for post-production on Wong Kar Wai’s iconic films, including In the Mood for Love.
Currently, Ping thrives as a graphic designer at a multinational chemical company, overseeing artwork for 11 Asia-Pacific countries. Her portfolio includes designing brochures, exhibition panels, project profiles, product leaflets, corporate videos, and product application videos. Previously, she shared her expertise as an art teacher, instructing sketching, watercolour, and oil painting at art studios such as The Hong Kong International Academy of Art, Artin Creative Workshop, and residential clubhouses like Peak One. In 2019, she worked in the team for the Asia Contemporary Art Show (Hong Kong), and in 2025, designed posters for the Hong Kong Tango Championship.
Beyond visual arts, Ping’s creativity shines in dance, where she has passion in bellydance, flamenco, ballet, and Argentine tango. She expanded her repertoire by learning burlesque and pole dance under Ms. Marsha Yuen, a celebrated Hong Kong performer and runner-up in the Miss Hong Kong pageant. In 2019, Ping won the championship in the oriental fusion group category at the Hong Kong 8th (Global Cup) Dance Competition with a Flamenco-Arabic fusion choreography. She has also performed fusion belly dance at the World Bellydance Day Festivals (Hong Kong) and the Hong Kong Mediterranean Arts Festival at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. In 2025, she competed in the Hong Kong Tango Championship, further showcasing her versatility.
Ping’s diverse talents and collaborative spirit make her an invaluable asset to any artistic endeavour. She welcomes opportunities to connect and bring her unique vision to life.
